Passport & Visa

Passport / Visas / Health requirements

When booking a flight or an inclusive holiday with Goldwing Travel /Mauritius Luxury holidays, it is your responsibility as passenger/s to ensure that you are in possession of a valid Passport and that you understand and comply with all passport requirements of the countries you are planning to visit.
Your Passport must also be legible and intact and must also show a validity of at least six months after your return date.
When making a booking you must ensure that the name/s you provide for all passengers match exactly the details shown on each passenger’s passports.
It is strongly recommended that children have their own passports and where a child is included on his/her parent’s passport you are advised to check that this will be acceptable at the point of entry in the country you are intending to visit.
You should only proceed to make a booking when all checks have been made with the Embassy’s concerned in order to confirm exact requirements.
Many Countries still require passengers to obtain an entry Visa even if you hold a British Passport. It is equally your responsibility as passenger/s to check and obtain necessary entry visas for the country you intend to visit.
You should also be aware that you may still require a visa if you transit in certain countries for onward flight connections to your final destination even though you are not visiting that country.
Whilst Goldwing Travel /Mauritius Luxury holidays can provide general information about Passport and Visa requirements for your holiday. You are ultimately responsible for your own travel documents, in this regard we recommend that you contact the relevant embassies for the countries you are planning to visit in order to obtain the most up to date information.
Some countries have additional Immigration requirements for example travel to USA, a machine-readable passport is required and proof of return travel– further details can be found at www.usembassy.org.uk.

Health

Health Travel advice is best given by your GP who should also be able to advise on the most up to date information regarding vaccinations which may be required or recommended for your destination.
Please also note that some countries may require proof of certain vaccinations as a condition of entry for example Saudi Arabia require passengers arriving for pilgrimage to have been immunized against Meningitis and to be in possession of a certificate to that effect.
Again whilst we can give general information about health formalities required for your journey, we strongly recommend that you check with your own GP for your specific circumstances.
GOLDWING TRAVEL/ MAURITIUS LUXURY HOLIDAYS CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF YOU OR ANY MEMBER OF YOUR PARTY ARE NOT ACCEPTED ON THE FLIGHT OR REFUSED ENTRY IN ANY COUNTRY BECAUSE YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS ARE NOT IN ORDER.
Please note that you may incur unnecessary expenditures if the above advice are not complied with.
